i purchased this album based on the brilliance of 'golden boy.' i fully expected the rest of the album to be similar... nope! but.... i wasn't disappointed? i really don't like slow sad sparse songs, but the ones here were too gorgeous to hate. just a beautiful album

This companion to Once Upon A Time feels like a natural extension to the LP's tracklist and fits well with the sounds/textures. As a whole it all connects so well into a dreamscape of sound. Your Dreams Will Turn To Gold is something so blissful. Romance has created some of the best musical landscapes to get lost in this year. Definitely check out In Every Dream House A Heartache. LP Romance did with Dean Hurley this year as well. Simply beautiful and mesmerizing.
