I never heard em before the night they were supporting Napalm Death in Sydney, and I had no idea WHAT I was in for. They fuckin kicked everyone's arse sideways. Non-stop energy and technicality, and I could tell they were having a good time. Bought 4 albums the next day. These guys are destined to become straight up folklore. Exactly the kind of art-grindcore that made me a Jon Chang fan to begin with. Each Gridlink album is an evolution of the genre, quite the accomplishment already, and this one feels like the last two acts of a johakyu: an epilogue that is just as engaging as the main story.
