I first heard Rusty in high school, back when it had first come out. Didn’t know what to make of it at first, but 25+ years later I’m still listening to it. Rodan got a lot of Slint comparisons, which is apt I suppose, but it’s also kind of incredible that they emerged so fully-formed on their first (and only) record. For me, Rusty was as influential as Spiderland. Hopefully now that it’s on bandcamp more folks will give it a listen. Tara Jane’s vocals on here are chilling in places. Sco77
