lyrics
Verse 1
A nurtured urchin,
you want it all grey.
Am I more than
my discernment of me?
I am the bends to
your diving bell.
And I’m still running blind
through red flags.
Chorus
I’ve drawn a picture of you,
it rests in my coat.
I study it from time to time
see branches of everyone I love.
Verse 2
Two heads one heart,
it’s a three part race.
How we amble
and oh how we trade
I am the logs to
the splinters in your eyes
and I’m a bygone means
in an unfolding hour.
Chorus
I’ve drawn a picture of you,
it rests in my coat.
I study it from time to time
see branches of everyone I love.
Bridge
Chorus
I’ve drawn a picture of you,
it rests in my coat.
I study it from time to time
see branches of everyone I love.

Once again, Evership has put out a virtuosic, conceptual prog rock album. Act 2 achieves the same high standard of creative storytelling that Act 1 did, and is an album to be savoured. Beau’s voice has wonderful range, & is strongly reminiscent of David Gates (singer of the band Bread) in ‘Nobody’. He has a great voice. The way this album is structured & presented is very much like a dramatic musical play. Evership truly excels at conceptual prog rock! Own this you must!

Wonderful, beautiful, densely layered music. I'm glad I gave this album several headphone listens before commenting. It did not immediately strike a chord with me, but the more I listened the more I began to understand and appreciate how fantastically rich and deep the sound is. For fans of atmospheric and melodic prog, this is an excellent addition. Bass and drum work are exquisite! paliojen_black

I'm a recent Sanguine Hum convert and I can't believe it's taken me until now to discover them! This is a simply fabulous album. If you're a Steven Wilson, Anathema or even a Gentle Giant, Jellyfish or Hatfield and the North fan, get yourself a copy. Great musicianship, wonderful melodies, superb voice, top songwriting.
