With no forward momentum and therefore no expectation of the next note, eventually these pieces etch out a pattern, at a welcomed glacial pace. Piano is welcomed also. Very well thought out.

it takes a while, but the cover art finally starts to make sense: the entire album has been a sort of slow-motion takeoff. that feeling in your gut, where your stomach starts floating as if it’s weightless; that’s what anthéne does best. the last few tracks explode in turbulent walls of sound, with the titular track and light shade edging on the cinematic. as if by leaving the ground your memories are already fraying

By reading the comments and some of the reviews it's easy to see how potent this mixture of sounds is for evoking beautiful and haunting visions...and I agree. I see ghosts wading in a pond in the middle of a foggy forest.
