As we dance Clarice, happy coincidence! (cloudless 22nd of June)
Any excuse to stay,
name all the plants and trees! (lips of the leaves in the wind)
And it’s so easy Clarice!
Can you see it all in a single dream?
As we dance Clarice,
peaches and berries picked while still green
Any excuse to stay,
day slowly drifts to evening. Moon smiles over Coral Gables.
It’s sooo easy Clarice Or are we asleep?

Satomimagae builds quiet songs around acoustic guitar and her ghostly whispers, then billows with field recordings, low-end synths and muslin textures of sound. I keep seeing Grouper comparisons, but the Japanese singer-songwriter’s sense of space feels more akin to Phil Elverum or Mirah’s early records, PNW masters of acoustic atmospheres deep and dense. https://www.vikingschoice.org/archive/amp-stacked-ambient-japanese-folk-black-rave/ Lars Gotrich

Deep, interesting, strong and emotional. Just a great work. Liz Harris will always have something strong, special and surprising in the best artistic way. risovic

I never get tired of this album. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to it front to back. I share it with friends whenever I get the chance. I’ve been listening to Ambient and other synth music for decades and have never heard anything quite like it. manycat
