about

written in San Antonio, TX (Dec 2019)

lyrics

I’ve always been so afraid of the things I can’t control
Like accepting that you couldn’t stay, and the sound of the garbage truck

I wanna be a better person to you
I’ve been away but I’ve been thinkin of you

I’ve always been so afraid of the things I can’t control
But I am not bound to make the mistakes I did before

I wanna be a better person to you
I’m here to stay, leave my door open to you

I wanna be a better person to you
I wanna be a better person
