Laying down the groundwork for her upcoming new record, ‘Carry On’ is a moody and hypnotic track showcasing Mel Parsons’ trademark smoky vocals backed by a stellar band of musicians led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Josh Logan. Recorded in Ōtautahi/Christchurch NZ at LOHO Studios. ‘Carry On’ is Mel Parsons’ first single since 2018’s critically acclaimed release ‘Glass Heart’ (winner of AMA Best Folk Artist, finalist for Taite Award & Top 20 Silver Scroll; produced by Mitchell Froom).
