There are some lovely tribal ambient passages in the first part that bring to mind traditional South Asian or North African snake charmers summoning a serpent with their flutes and getting way more than they bargained for…. Other passages have a dreamlike feel, as if the listener were floating through shimmering realms of the imagination while perched on the writhing coils of a void-black monstrous serpent.
