It brings us great pleasure to present, the first slice of musical magic, from the collaboration between Zimbabwean duo, Chimurenga Renaissance and global electronic music producer King Britt.
Zimbabwe feat Nadine Stoddart is a celebration of the beauty that Zimbabwe has given to the world. Recorded in Zimbabwe, Philadelphia and Seattle, the song pays homage to Tendai Maraire’s father Dumisani Maraire, whom brought the Mbira to the western world.
Reworking parts of his traditional song of celebration, Tondori,Tendai and King harness the power of the message into a contemporary masterpiece. We hope you celebrate the musical lineage and history with us. Enjoy the journey.
