Intense and unrelenting black / death metal bringing a merciless edge to their lacerating onslaught. Brutal / slam facets are executed with bloody effectiveness, and contrast in an interesting way with the black metal palette. The dual vocal styles, alternating between shrieks and deep growls, certainly set this apart from others in similar genres. They also add a fair bit of dynamics to the album, breaking up some of the overwhelmingly driven aggression that constant beatdowns the listener.
