The realest, scariest, heaviest fucking shit. Who needs grease paint and fake satanism, when you can just look around at the mutilation of humanity that is the American South? Real American horror story. A fucking tragedy. Every day. Mark Barnes
Wow. Rack ranks right up there with the best Jesus Lizard albums, and I personally have it just behind Goat. So many bands lose their fire over time, and so many never had it to begin with. It's extraordinary to get an album of such energy and quality this late into their career. The Jesus Lizard are one of the greatest bands of all time, and this is one of their greatest albums. Amazing. asongisabeautifullie
They took everything from God's Country and refined it even further. I'm so excited to see what they continue to come up with, talented bunch of people. Cover also looks like a cross I've seen in Indiana about one hundred times so that's really cool soulof-fright
Another great batch of sprightly, harmonic indie rock tracks from the Indianapolis trio; come for the riffs, stay for the ukeleles. Bandcamp... New & Notable Mar 12, 2025
Vast and soaring shoegaze courtesy of the great label Deathwish, Inc., the songs by this Texas band are full of majesty & grace. Bandcamp... New & Notable Feb 10, 2025
I met Steve Albini once before a Big Black show. He was the best. RIP Steve. You'll be missed. "I don't fear Hell/Their baseball team is undefeated." Birdboy
