Pass on the fire
Don’t let it burn out
Keep desires
But it won’t keep you fed
You paint the picture
You’re begging to see
I refuse to go back down
I refuse to pretend that all the gold
Is worth the wasted years
So give up your will
For the faithful few
Give up your will
For the good good news
Hang on tight
Don’t let your gaze fall
If you’re not there you must be lost
I refuse to go back down
I refuse to pretend that all the gold
Is worth the wasted years
How do you even explain Musty Moth? Karl Kuehn is an internet celebrity, and Graham and Kory are the best sidekicks anyone could ask for. This band is really special. Pop punk? Late Bloomer
Totally Slow sounds like all of the things you liked about early Thrasher Skate Rock comps. Imagine the Adolescents, mixed with The Faction and then throw in a little bit of surf. Late Bloomer
Fuzzy Indie/pop punk that gets compared to Best Coast and Tiger Trap but are easily way more aggro. Their new 7" is out now on Negative Fun//Self Aware Records Late Bloomer
Took a few listens to catch me but when it did, whew. Takes me back to the days of 90s emo but with lyricism that goes so far beyond. The breadth of musical styles on display, the breadth of subjects covered, adds up to a towering, humanistic work. Few bands can be so hook-averse yet so packed with creativity, and there's at least one vocal moment on every single track that blows me away. I can't imagine this not winding up being the best punk album of '21. PaintedDogs
