’Seconds From You' is the international border-crossing collaboration between Moon King and Detroit's Vespre. A true collab in every sense of the word, the track was written & recorded over two days in an unused office tower near downtown Detroit, where recording studio Assemble Sound had rented out a floor.
Daniel handled production and instruments, while Kaylan wrote and sang the vocal, and within a few hours the track had fully materialized; a slow-tempo & dreamy Rhodes groove, anchored by Kaylan's magnificent vocal performance, and accompanied by a sparkling synth line. As the sun set over the Detroit skyline visible from high up in the office tower, they knew they had captured a spontaneous kind of magic.
