Produced by Daniel Fox from Girl Band, JITB carries the same nagging unease as previous single Dunkirk with taut drums and unrelenting bass underpinning seasick guitar arps and Daniel O’Kelly’s blunt commentary on the ‘problems down the back’. Feedback soaked and frazzled, it sees the band step further away from their indie roots and more into the groove - if the groove covered itself in petrol and dared you to light the match.

I first heard of FDC when guitarist Carlos gave a memorable speech at the Rolling Stones awards in Nov 2024. I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of them before. Incredible band. We started w Dogrel and love every CD and their politics.

This is still my favourite album, every song is great and memorable. It's hard to pick a favourite song. I suppose Roy's Tune and Boys In The Better Land.
