Can we call this Sunn's pop album? Steve Albini's production makes their sludge sparkling clean and perfectly balanced. Eminently listenable, you could probably even put this on for people who don't get drone metal and they might dig it.

Full Upon Her Burning Lips, c'est Dylan Carlson sur les guitares et Adrienne Davies sur les percussions. Point. Barre. ... Comme l'impression que l'histoire se répète — mais pas vraiment. Le personnel très réduit pourrait annoncer un nouveau Earth 2 : ce n'est pas le cas. Cette fois, les deux compagnons sont seuls et il n'y a aucun invité. Au lieu de nous propulser dans l'espace, le post-rock de cet album est intimiste. C'est lent, reposant. Earth est une sorte de phare au milieu des ténèbres.
