I am fairly new to power metal and honestly getting into the rabbit hole of metal sub-genre’s, and this album just reeks of pure badass fantasy, like I am playing a D&D game where I am the hero slaying demons and ghouls. I absolutely love it. The guitar solo’s to the vocal’s are just great and match what I want out of metal in general. Highly recommend this album! SLADESNAKE
As others have said here, a definite staple in the NWOTHM movement. It has a raw sound that is reminiscent of the era while being a solid banger for a debut album. caffeinatedmetalhead
Apparently, C.L.Moore's Jirel of Joiry is one of this band's inspirations, and it sounds like it. And they have Michael Moorcock doing a bit of narration on another one of their albums. Enough for me - I bought the lot dudleybam
