There is more than one reason Inuit peoples have traditionally built _Inuksuit_, human-shaped stone monuments standing at prominent positions in the Arctic landscape. It is so easy to lose your way amongst the endless icy white and hissing cold, forgetting not just where you are, but who you are. Ugasanie deftly evokes this sense of the polar Weird with a disorienting blend of thick atmospheres that envelop and slowly, inexorably shroud the listener in the blackest of white.
