With its genesis as a cassette label, founded in 2009 by experimentalist Matthewdavid and artist/designer Jesselisa Moretti, Leaving Records has since evolved into a taste-making outpost for the current New Age revival. The label's latest release, by singer/guitarist (and member of LA psych group The Entrance Band) Guy Blakeslee, finds the artist exploring two sides of instrumental guitar music, with gentler acoustic movements countered by a more trippy electric journey.
